Is there a website order minimum?

Yes, we require a minimum order of $100 for shipping orders and a minimum order of $50 for local delivery orders placed on our website. There is no minimum order for local pickup.

I’m not happy with my order, can I get a refund or replacement?

Wagyuwala is committed to delivering the highest quality halal Australian Wagyu. If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately upon receiving your package. Our team will work with you to address your concerns and, if necessary, provide a suitable resolution, which may include a refund or replacement.

I’ve already placed my order, can I cancel?

If you need to cancel your order, please email us immediately. Orders can only be canceled if they have not yet been processed or shipped. Please note that a processing fee from the payment system will apply to all cancellations.
Orders cannot be canceled due to delays caused by the shipping company. However, if there is an excessive shipping delay that impacts the quality of the meat, we will offer a credit or resend the order.

Can I return my order?

All sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges, as our products are perishable. However, you may be eligible for a refund under certain circumstances. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your order, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Can I place a custom order?

Absolutely! If you're looking for something specific that isn’t on our standard menu, just reach out to us. We’re happy to work with you individually to accommodate custom orders and help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

All of your steaks have a BMS number, what does that mean?

The number after the steak refers to the BMS (Beef Marbling Score). The BMS is used to grade the level of marbling within the steak - the intramuscular fat that creates Wagyu’s signature tenderness and flavor. Higher BMS scores indicate increased marbling, which generally means a richer, more tender, and flavorful steak.

How long can I store the meat in the refrigerator or freezer?

Once thawed, we recommend keeping the steak in the refrigerator for no more than five days while it remains in its vacuum-sealed packaging. For freezer storage, while steaks can be safely frozen for up to six months or longer, we suggest consuming them within two months to enjoy optimal flavor and texture

Is your meat sustainable?

Yes! We are committed to sustainability and source our Wagyu exclusively from family farms and ranches that uphold high standards for sustainable and ethical farming practices. This ensures quality meat while supporting responsible land management and animal welfare.

What is Halal?

"Halal" is an Arabic term that means "permissible" or "lawful" according to Islamic law. When applied to food, it means the product has been prepared following specific guidelines outlined in Islamic dietary laws. For meat, halal requirements include humane treatment of animals, proper slaughtering techniques, and ensuring the meat is free from prohibited substances.
At Wagyuwala, we ensure that all our Wagyu products meet halal standards, so customers can enjoy them with confidence. We are happy to share the halal certifications that our farms maintain upon request.

SHIPPING & PACKAGING

How is the meat shipped?

At Wagyuwala, we are committed to delivering premium halal Australian Wagyu steaks right to your door in perfect condition. All of our meat is freshly cut, vacuum-sealed, and flash-frozen to lock in quality and flavor. Flash freezing preserves the texture and taste, ensuring the steaks arrive at their best. All orders are packed to deliver frozen or partially frozen.
To maintain freshness during transit, we use top-grade insulated shipping boxes, dry ice, and frozen gel packs. Your steaks are carefully packaged to ensure they stay at the ideal temperature throughout the shipping process.

Where does Wagyuwala ship? Does Wagyuwala ship internationally?

We ship to all 50 states within the United States. However, some areas in Alaska may be restricted due to dry ice shipping regulations. Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time, including Canada.

What are your shipping requirements?

● A physical street address is required for all orders. We cannot ship to PO boxes or lockers.
● Please double-check the address on your order, as Wagyuwala is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses.

What are your shipping recommendations?

● We recommend shipping to a residential address to ensure prompt delivery.
● You can ship to a business address, but note that delays may occur since deliveries are not made on weekends.
● If you live in a gated community, please include your gate code in the address line to ensure successful delivery.

What are your shipping methods?

● Shipping Days: We ship orders on weekdays only to avoid potential delays over the weekend, ensuring your order arrives as fresh as possible.
● Shipping Options: We offer overnight and 2-day shipping options to deliver your Wagyu quickly and in optimal condition.
● Shipping Location: All orders are shipped from our facility in Southern California.
● International Shipping: At this time, we do not offer international shipping.
Each shipment is carefully packed with insulated materials, dry ice, and frozen gel packs to maintain freshness during transit.

What is your shipping schedule?

● Orders placed on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday.
● Orders placed on Tuesday will be shipped on Wednesday.
● Orders placed from Wednesday to Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday.
This schedule helps ensure your Wagyu arrives fresh and avoids delays over the weekend.

How much does shipping cost?

Our shipping rates vary based on your location and preferred shipping speed (2-Day or Overnight). Below is a breakdown of the shipping costs by region (see map below):
● Blue Zone: $25 for 2-Day, $45 for Overnight
● Green Zone: $35 for 2-Day, $55 for Overnight
● Purple Zone: $45 for 2-Day, $65 for Overnight
● Orange Zone: $55 for 2-Day, $75 for Overnight
● Teal Zone: $65 for 2-Day, $85 for Overnight
● Pink Zone: $75 for 2-Day, $95 for Overnight

How can I track my order?

Tracking will be emailed to you the day your order ships.

How do I properly dispose of dry ice?

For your safety, please use caution when opening your package in case there is residual dry ice still present. We recommend leaving the dry ice inside its shipping box and allowing it to fully sublimate. For safety, place the box in a well-ventilated area, such as outside or in a garage. Please do not dispose of dry ice in sinks or drains, as its extreme temperature can cause cracks or other damage to surfaces.

Do you offer non-shipping options for Southern California locals?

Yes! Wagyuwala is excited to offer flexible options for local customers to receive their orders. For those who are interested in local pickup, please select “Pickup in store” at checkout. For those who are interested in delivery and are within our delivery radius, please select “Local delivery” as your shipping method. Please keep in mind the order minimum of $50 for local delivery. Of course, please contact us with any questions or concerns. We’re happy to help you enjoy our premium Wagyu without the need for shipping!

How does local pickup work?

Our local pickup option is convenient and free of charge! Here’s how it works:

  • Free Pickup: Local pickup is available at no additional cost for all orders.
  • Same-Day Pickup: Same-day pickup may be possible, depending on when your order is confirmed.
  • Pickup Location: Orders can be picked up in Anaheim Hills, CA. The exact address and instructions will be provided once your order is confirmed.
  • Flexible Timing: We’ll coordinate a pickup time that works with your schedule after confirming your order.

Do you offer local delivery?

Yes, we offer local delivery for your convenience with an order minimum of $50! Here’s how our local delivery service works:

  • Delivery Days: Local delivery is available Monday through Saturday.
  • Free Delivery Radius: Delivery is free within 10 miles of Anaheim Hills, CA.
  • Extended Delivery: We offer delivery up to 20 miles from Anaheim Hills, CA for a small fee, which varies based on driving distance.
  • Flexible Timing: Once your order is confirmed, we’ll coordinate a delivery time that works with your schedule.
